Map

November 2010. Norfolk NMP.
Linear earthworks are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S6) to the southeast of Wretham airfield. They are centred on TL 9105 8855, oriented north-south, and appear to be bounded by an earthwork bank visible as a trackway on the Tithe Map of the area. It is possible that the regular earthwork banks represent ridge and furrow.
The earthworks of braded post medieval trackways have been mapped (NHER 53461), and are visible apparently terminating at, or cut through by the linear bank visible on the Tithe map.
E. Bales (NMP), 17 November 2010.
