Early-Middle Saxon silver mount with gold foil on one face.

The silver and gold mount was submitted as potential Treasure (Treasure case 2010 T574), declared Treasure at inquest on 5 July 2012 and subsequently acquired by Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2013.66). See British Museum report in file, which notes that while the object was likely to be more than 300 years old it wasn't more closely datable.
