Summary

A prehistoric perforated pebble mace or hammer was recovered as a stray find here some time before August 2009. These objects are not closely datable, having been found in both Mesolithic and later prehistoric contexts.

A prehistoric perforated stone macehead or hammer recovered some time before August 2009. Highly symmetrical with 'hour glass' perforation. These objects are not closely datable, having been found in both Mesolithic and later prehistoric contexts. Identified by P. A. Robins (NCM), 15 February 2010. See description in file.
