Summary

Metal-detecting between 2010 and 2017 recovered late prehistoric worked flint, including a Neolithic blade and Neolithic/Bronze Age flint borer and scraper; medieval coins; a medieval jetton; and Roman, Early Saxon and Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. These finds include a Roman furniture nail; Early Saxon brooches; a Late Saxon to post-medieval spindle whorl; medieval lead pot mends, a strap mount and buckles; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments, a lead weight and "paper-clip" rivet and a post-medieval buckle, hooked sword belt mount, cloth seal and crotal bell fragments.
