Summary

A probable type 22 World War Two pillbox is visible on aerial photographs to the north of the Bury St Edmunds and Thetford Railway line, Thetford. A second pillbox is visible 155m to the west (NHER 32170), and a third 425m to the east (NHER 54527), also defending the railway line.

A probable type 22 World War Two pillbox is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2), to the north of the Bury St Edmunds and Thetford Railway line, Thetford. It is centred on TL 8715 8370. A second pillbox is visible 155m to the west (NHER 32170), and a third 425m to the east (NHER 54527), also defending the railway line.
