Summary

A probable type 22 World War Two pillbox is visible on aerial photographs to the north of the Bury St Edmunds and Thetford Railway line, Thetford. Two further pillboxes are visible 425m to the west (NHER 54526), and a third 580m to the west (NHER 32170), also defending the railway line.

A probable type 22 World War Two pillbox is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S4), to the north of the Bury St Edmunds and Thetford Railway line, Thetford. It is centred on TL 8758 8362. Two further pillboxes are visible 425m to the west (NHER 54526), and a third 580m to the west (NHER 32170), also defending the railway line.
