Map

December 2010. Norfolk NMP.
A possible linear bank is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs (S1) on former scrubland between the Little Ouse River and the sewage works, Thetford.
It is visible running for approximately 80m from TL 8527 8357 to TL 8535 8352, and measures up to 11m in width. It is only visible on one set of aerial photographs, and is possible that it represents an area of undergrowth rather than an archaeological feature, and should therefore be viewed with a hint of caution.
E. Bales (NMP), 14 Dec 2010.
