Map

December 2010. Norfolk NMP.
A possible ring ditch is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S2-S3) on meadowland to the south of the Little Ouse River, Thetford.
It is centred on TL 8627 8312, and measures up to 11m in external diameter. It is only visible on aerial photographs from one year, and it is possible that it represents a natural fungus ring rather than an archaeological feature, and should therefore be viewed with a note of caution, since it is not visible on photographs from a year earlier (S1).
E. Bales (NMP), 14 Dec 2010.
