Summary

A gold finger ring was recovered as stray find in Whitlingham between 1960 and 1970. An Iron Age, Roman or Early Saxon annular glass bead was recovered as a stray find before 17 December 2010, at an unlocated spot in Whitlingham Park.

Discovery of the ring predates the Treasure Act, and as an accidental loss, fall outside the definition of Treasure Trove. It was therefore returned to finder.
