Summary
This is the site of Tharston School, a plain single-room school built in 1875. It was closed in July 1951, purchased by Tharston PCC in 1953 and renamed the Church Room. It was demolished at some time between 2011 and 2016.

June 2009. Building Survey.
Severely plain single-room school built in 1875 and little altered. Closed July 1951, purchased by Tharston PCC in 1953 and renamed the Church Room.
