Map

February 2011. Norfolk NMP.
The earthwork of a linear bank is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) on land to the east of Kilverstone former medieval settlement (NHER 5952). This linear bank runs from TL 8994 8349 to TL 9002 8353, and is oriented northeast-southwest, on a slightly different alignment to the majority of the earthworks recorded as part of Kilverstone medieval settlement, and has therefore been recorded separately, although it may be related to it. It shares an alignment with linear banks recorded to the south-east (NHER 54587) and has therefore a suggested medieval to post medieval date. It may have been a post medieval drainage feature.
E. Bales (NMP), 22 February 2011.
