Map

October 2010. Borehole Survey.
Archaeological window sampling evaluation.
The deposits identified in the samples indicated that waterlogged ground at the site, perhaps a foreshore or natural creek, had been infilled and sealed by dumps of material. Two sherds of medieval pottery recovered from this material may suggest a broad date for this activity. A peat layer which may be suitable for radiocarbon dating was identified at 1.2mOD.
