NIAS records:
As government orders for aircraft increased, Boulton and Paul moved from their Rose Lane site to the much larger one on the north bank of the river Wensum. The facility only took 3 months to build and was up and running in a week. By 1920 all B&P products were manufactured here after the sale of the Rose Lane site. Their main products other than aircraft were wood and steel as well as their patented wire netting.
In 1940 the factory was bombed heavily and most production was moved elsewhere.
By 1951 most of the site was re-built with new, automated machinery.
The site was demolished in the late 1990s to make way for the 'new' Riverside entertainment complex.

The site is visible on 1946 RAF aerial photographs.
