Map

March 2011. Norfolk NMP.
Several linear banks and ditches are visible as soilmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S2) on land to the south-east of Hethel airfield. They are centred on TG 1601 0017. At least one bank, that which is centred on TG 1625 0023, appears to correspond with a field boundary shown on the Tithe Map of 1838 (S3). It is possible that the other features may also relate to medieval to post medieval field boundaries, although it is possible that they are just agricultural features.
E. Bales (NMP), 29 March 2011.
