Full Description
December 2010-January 2011. Excavation and Watching Brief.
Excavation on site of new wind turbine and monitoring of groundworks associated with its construction. Groundworks associated with the installation of a ground-source heat pump were also monitored.
No archaeologically significant features were recorded. A small number of finds were recovered, including a Mesolithic flint blade segment; medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; clay tobacco pipe stems and several post-medieval metal objects.
