Map

Photographic survey by NIAS in 2002. Shows site in use as Q8 fuel station and general motor engineers. Collection of undated photographs show site in use as an Esso/Shell fuel station and as a motor and agricultural engineer. Date stone not visible in older photographs and is gone from newer ones as the building appears to have been partially rebuilt at some point, replacing the south wall and lowering the roof. The site and the house adjacent are visible on the 1824 1st edition ordnance survey map (S1). Google Earth images from 2009 show the site as it was in the 2002 NIAS survey, however Google street view images from 2011 show modern flats built on the site.
See (S2).
