Map

April 2011. Norfolk NMP.
Several fragmentary linear ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S7) to the north and west of Swardeston Common, Swardeston. They are part of a network of drainage ditches, most of which have clearly been excavated or re-excavated in modern times. The site of possible banked enclosures (NHER 29578) lies within this area of drainage, and may in fact relate to drainage features.
