Full Description
November 2010.
This is the reported crash site of an American World War Two bomber. It was initially believed to have been a B52 but it is more likely that it is a smaller aircraft such as B17 or B25. Large amounts of aircraft debris has been recovered to the west of the Old Covert near to Airfield Farm.
