Map

September 2010. Norfolk Rural Schools Survey.
The school was probably built in the mid to late 19th century. In White's Director 1890 it is described as a National School. The school room is attached to a cottage and is of rendered brick and flint construction. Black and white bricks have been used on the southern side with oblong white brick lintels over windows in the brick section of the building. The roof is slate with decorative barge boards which are likely to be modern replacements. The school closed in 1948/9.
