Icehouse set ina large mound, designed to be seen from the house although recently planted woods obscure it.
Visited by NIAS in 1992. Pit cleaned out and a wooden door fitted with letterbox opening for roosting bats. The pit is around 14 feet deep from ground level. The site is maked as 'Icehouse' on the 1st edition ordnance survey map (S1).
