Summary

This two-room L-plan school was built in 1897, replacing the original single-room church school (NHER 55670) located just over 100m to the north. The brick building is in the Tudoresque style, with a flat tile roof and brick ornamentation as seen in the remaining triangular brick pediments above some of the windows.
