Map

Surveyed by NIAS in August 1977 and demolished in the autumn. A stone in the west wall read "J.E. 1853". The building was made from flint and brick with a pantile roof, with slate roofing on the kiln cowling. At the time of survey the building was derelict, with roof tiles missing and no glazing in the windows. Machinery stored in the upper floors was identified as farm machinery dating from the 1930s when the building was used as a farm storage unit and as a mixing and distribution centre for animal feedstuffs. To accommodate this new use the malting floor's tiles were modified, making them impermeable.
