May 2011. Field visit.
A surviving bank, about 10m wide and up to 0.4m high. It was walked between TL 79421 91583 and TL 79531 91535. [1] reported that it continues to the east as far as TL 79963 91360. There is a ride to the west of TL 79421 91583; it was not possible to see the bank to the west of the ride due to dense vegetation.
There is a boundary stone at TL 79421 91583, with the letter M carved on northern face and a possible letter B and letter W carved on southern face. This stone is marked on (S1).
D. Robertson (HES), 27 June 2011.

May 2020. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
The boundary bank described above is visible as an earthwork on visualised lidar data (S2). It has not been mapped as it is depicted on readily accessible historical maps (such as S1). The historical maps show that as well as marking the parish boundary, the bank also formed the north side of a plantation. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently, it is probable that the earthwork still survives.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 15 May 2020.
