Summary

A bank and ditch that defined the boundary between Didlington and Colverston parishes is seen on visualised lidar data and field visits . The boundary ceased to serve this function during the 20th century when Colverston parish was united with that of Didlington.

A bank and ditch, both at least 2m wide and 0.3m high/deep.
The features marked the boundary between Didlington and Colverston parishes, as shown on the Tithe Map (S1) and the First Edition Ordnance Survey map (S2). Colverston parish was united with that of Didlington during the 20th century.

A bank and ditch of a probable post-medieval date are seen as an earthworks on visualised lidar data (S3). The earthworks are most likely the parish boundary between Didlington and Colveston and can be seen on the Tithe map (S4) as well as the First and Second Edition Ordnance Survey map (S5-S6).
The mapped extent of this bank and ditch has been refined and expanded from a line into a polygon [1].
