The school was built in 1884 as a board school and was scheduled for closure in 1952/3. The building is constructed from red brick with a chequer brick work panel on the gable end around a ventilator. Inside two original fireplaces both date 1884 have been retained. The building has since been converted into a domestic dwelling.
