December 1951. Listed, Grade II*.

November 1977. Field Observation.
Nos 1-9 (odd) King Street visited by E. Rose (NAU).
Tall white brick Georgian house with Victorian top storey added above dentilled cornice. Listing mentions fireplace within.
Compiled by E. Rose (NAU), 2 November 1977. Information from record card (S1).
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 11 April 2023.

January 1999. Building Survey.
Examined by E. Rose (NLA).
The only pre-18th century features that are still visible are the panels in the small first floor room, which date from the 17th century, and it is probable that these have been re-set from elsewhere.
In the early 20th century there was a major remodelling and the top floor of the façade was added along with conservatories. This perhaps relates to a change of ownership around 1900.
See report (S2) for further information.
