Map

August 2011. Field visit.
A ditch with a bank immediately to the west survive as earthworks. The bank is up to 2m wide and up to 0.5m high. The ditch is up to 2m wide and up to 0.3m deep. They appear to be relatively recent in apperance.
The boundary formed by the bank and ditch appears on (S1) and (S2), but not on (S3). This suggests they may have been constructed between 1838 and the 1880s, possibly as part of the segmentation of Kelling Heath.
D. Robertson (HES), 12 August 2011.
