Map

May-June 2009. Geophysical Survey.
Magnetometry survey of proposed development area (Field 9).
The survey revealed a discrete magnetic anomaly close to the northern edge of the field (at c.TG 1771 0624) which could be due to incidents of burning and may indicate the remains of a highly magnetised feature such as a kiln. A number of small dipolar anomalies around the site could suggest buried ceramic debris and a post-medieval tile kiln complex is located a short distance to the east of the field (NHE 9406).
See report (S1) for further details.
