Full Description
October 2010. Norfolk Rural Schools Survey.
The former National School on this site was established in 1842 and occupied a building that was erected in 1828 as a theatre. The board school was built in 1872 with enlargement in 1888, 1892, 1899 and 1903. The 1872 phase of the school is constructed from brick with stone quoins in a gothic style with the 1909 additions in a plain Queen Anne style.
