Full Description
February 1998. Walkover Survey.
Rapid Earthwork Identification Survey (Compartments 5038, 5039, 5053, 5054 and 5075).
A number of pits were observed, which are possibly former marl pits.
Two banks were also noted, one aligned north-south and the other east-west. These were probably associated with boundaries that are marked on the 1st Edition OS map (these forming part of the boundary of Croxton Heath).
See report (S1) for further details.
S. Howard (HES), 2 September 2011. Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 18 August 2015.
