Full Description
February 1998. Walkover Survey.
Rapid Earthwork Identification Survey (Compartment 6066).
Five small pits along the road all about 5m in diameter and 1m deep. Neither the pits or road are not marked on the 1 inch 1st edition ordnance survey map (1836). It is possible that these are marl pits.
See report (S1) for further details.
S. Howard (HES), 5 September 2011. Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 19 August 2015.
