Summary

Metal-detecting at this location between 2011 and 2025 recovered a Late Prehistoric retouched flint flake or scraper; Iron Age, Roman and medieval pottery sherds; a Roman coin and a number of other metal objects, including a Roman knife handle; Early Saxon brooch fragments and a lead die stamp or matrix; a Middle/Late Saxon hooked tag; a medieval probable buckle fragment, furniture fitting, lead badge or brooch fragment and silver finger ring and a post-medieval buckle and coin weight.
