Map

One of 4 milestones along the Cromer to Holt road, marking Holt 1 mile and Cromer 8 miles. This road was not part of a turnpike, and it is likely that these milestones were put up by parish councils in the late 19th century.

The milestones along this road are wedge-shaped, with arched tops and the milages given in seriffed capitals.

(S1) gives information on this and other milestones along this road.
