Summary

Metal-detecting between 2011 and 2022 recovered potentially Early Neolithic worked flints; Late Iron Age, Roman and post-medieval pottery sherds; Late Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval token and a range of other, Middle/Late Bronze Age to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include an undated lead weight; a Middle/Late Bronze Age copper alloy casting jet; Roman brooches, a strap end, military buckle and terret; an Early Saxon brooch; a Middle/Late Saxon strap end; Late Saxon brooches, strap ends, stirrup terminals and an Anglo-Scandinavian harness mount; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval harness mount, harness pendant, pedestal-based ewer fragment and lead seal matrix; a medieval/post-medieval loop handle from a cupboard door, drop handle from copper alloy vessel and other copper alloy vessel fragments and post-medieval coins weights, a shoulder bolster from whittle-tang knife, mount and pin.
