Full Description
March 2010. Norfolk Rural Schools Survey.
Built in 1876, this school consisted of 1 room, and had an average attendance of 76 children before being enlarged in 1905 to have a capacity of 90 children. (S1) indicated that in 1947 the school had a total of 49 pupils aged 5-14 and was due to be closed in 1954. However, numerous additions were added during the post-war period, including several classrooms, a hall and a kitchen, and the school is still currently open as a NCC owned Primary School with a total of 76 pupils.
See (S1) for further information.
