October 2011. Norfolk Rural Schools Survey.
Built in 1874 and 1875 on land given to the school board by Lord Sondes, this school had a capacity for 94 children. It is a brick built building, with 3 rooms, a main school room and two classrooms, forming an L shape. It was originally a one storey building, but dormers and a second floor have been inserted, possibly when it was converted to a domestic dwelling.
