Full Description
March 2011. Norfolk Rural Schools Survey.
An unusual cruciform plan building, erected in 1842 by the Marquis of Cholmondeley. It was extended in 1857 with the construction of an infants room on the front of the building, and again, possibly in the 1870's, with another wing that was added to the rear of the building. It is constructed of brick, with some decorative dentiling and string course at eave level on the later wing, and with pantiles on the roof.
See (S1) for further information.
