Map

July 2010. Norfolk Rural Schools Survey.
Constructed in 1840 this was a L-shaped building, consisting of 3 rooms, 1 room for infants, 1 classroom and 1 school room, with a total capacity of about 160 children. It was extended in 1872 and a music room, another school room and a porch were added. It was further extended in 1897 with an extension to the main school room and further rooms built onto the south-eastern corner. The school was closed at sometime after 1947 and subsequently demolished, with only a few wall footings and a side wall of the playground remaining. A storage building has since been constructed on the site.
