Summary

A simple one-roomed school of the 1870s with a later infants room. Little altered and still recognisable from the 1870s plans. Now a village hall. Date of closure unknown, but likely during the 1970s.

Constructed in 1878, this brick and pantile building was extended in 1898 and again in 1911, however, these additions were very small and the overall plan of the building is little altered from the original 1870s plans. It is unknown when it closed but it is believed to be during the 1970s. The building is currently in use as a village hall.
