Built in 1872, this school originally consisted of 3 rooms with two porches. It was extended in 1895 with the addition of another classroom on the end of the school. There have also been numerous modern additions and alterations to the school building, such as modifications to the windows and the addition of another porch. In September 1899 the partition separating the Boys and the Girls schools was taken down and the school was reopened that year as a mixed school.
