Summary

In 2011 an archaeological watching brief recorded four small pits probably of later prehistoric date and what appeared to be a silted up water course.

November 2010 and August 2011. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of groundworks associated with construction of new agricultural building.
Four small pits probably of later prehistoric date (possibly Neolithic or Bronze Age), and what appeared to be a silted up water course. Processed environmental samples produced a small quantity of plant macrofossils and charcoal - no cereal grains were observed.
