Summary

Metal-detecting in 2010 recovered single medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman and post-medieval coins (including a group of Roman coins that had fused together after being partially melted); post-medieval jettons; a post-medieval token and other, Iron Age/Roman, Roman and post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include an Iron Age or Roman terret; Roman brooches and a key and post-medieval buckles, a bell and spur fragment.

Full Description

Before 5 November 2010. Metal-detecting.
Finds recorded by HES on the PAS database [1]:
Group of 6-8 Roman coins which at some stage have been partially molten and fused together under heat. Possibly founder's or counterfeiter's feed or waste material.
27 additional Roman coins.
5 post-medieval coins, 2 jettons and 1 token.
