Summary

Metal-detecting in 2010 recovered Roman pottery sherds; animal bone fragments; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins and Early Iron Age/Roman, Roman, medieval and post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a possible Iron Age or Roman cosmetic pestle and terret; a Roman finger-ring and Dolphin brooch; a medieval strap-end and post-medieval buckles, a ring and a lead cloth seal.

Full Description

Before 5 November 2010. Metal-detecting. [1].
Iron Age/Roman cosmetic pestle (S1) and a possible terret ring (S1).
18 Roman coins, pottery sherds, a finger ring and a brooch.
2 medieval coins and a strap-end (S1).
3 post-medieval coins, a lead cloth seal, belt mount, ring and buckles.
Undated lead weights (S1) and animal bone fragments.
