Summary
Demolition of housing along exterior face of the medieval city walls and levelling and resurfacing of car park on corner of Baker Road and Oak Street in 1972, produced no material (apart from late post medieval) from the only superficial disturbance of the uppermost levels of ditch fill.

1972.
Demolition of housing along exterior face of city walls and levelling and resurfacing of car park on corner of Baker Road and Oak Street, produced no material (apart from late post medieval) from the only superficial disturbance of the uppermost levels of ditch fill.
Only late post medieval material collected.
