Summary

The National School was built in 1860 with enlargement in 1866. The teacher's house is assumed to be the 1866 extension which has been demolished. The school closed in 1975 and has since been converted into a private dwelling.

The National School was built in 1860 with enlargement in 1866. The teacher's house is assumed to be the 1866 extension which has been demolished. The building is constructed in a plain style from brick with red and white brick quoins and dentilated eaves and a pantile roof. The school closed in 1975 and has since been converted into a private dwelling.
