Map

May 2011. Norfolk Rural Schools Survey.
The elementary school and attached teacher's house were built in 1839 with enlargement of the school in 1905. The buildings are constructed in a Gothic style with pointed heads on the doors. The former teacher's house is attached to the west end of the school and is built in the same style and apparently at the same time as the schoolroom. A porch has been added to the front door of the building following residential conversion, but the original door has been retained. The dwelling incorporating the ex-teachers house now also includes part of the main schoolroom. Since closure after 1981 the building has been converted into a private dwelling.
