Summary

Metal-detecting between 2011 and 2015 by Elden Tours recovered post-medieval coins; medieval and post-medieval jettons and Roman, Early Saxon and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal objects include a Roman brooch and a steelyard weight; an Early Saxon brooch and wrist clasp eye plate; a Middle-Late Saxon hooked tag; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval horse harness pendants, a dagger scabbard chape, lead pot mend and harness fitting or belt fitting; a medieval/post-medieval fragment of purse frame, copper alloy vessel fragment, copper alloy ring and a belt or harness mount and a post-medieval sword belt fitting, sexfoil drawer handle, harness mount, tool or implement handle cover, lead trade weight and a lead cloth seal.
