Full Description
60, 60A and 60B The Close.
Febrary 1954. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description Excerpt:
"Former house, now flats. Late 16th century with 19th-century refacing. Flint, the west facade stucco. Pantile roof. L-shape corner site."

1956. Stray Find.
Wooden spoon, probably 15th century, found in a wall (dating between 1400 and 1538).

May 1981. Building Survey.
Examined as part of Norwich Survey.
Two storey flint/rubble block with back (east) wing. 19th-century stuccoed façade with period 'Gothick' dressings. North wing with pegged doorframe with double roll mouldings possibly dating to c. 1600. Interiors gutted and rooms rearranged. Roof of main block double butt purlin with original dormer. North wing roof also double butt purlin. The main (west) block appears to date to c. 1600.
