Summary

Metal-detecting in 2012 and 2022 recovered a dispersed late Roman coin hoard comprising three heavily-clipped silver siliquae likely to have been lost or deposited in the early years of the 5th century.

Found close together:
2 Roman silver coins. These heavily clipped late Roman silver siliquae have only a little wear and were probably lost or deposited in the early years of the 5th century.

These coins were disclaimed as Treasure (Ref: 2012 T402) and returned to the finder.

Found approximately 100m north of 2012 finds:
1 Roman silver coin. This heavily-clipped fragment of a late Roman silver siliqua is a probable addendum to the coin hoard found in 2012, which puts the total for the hoard at 3 coins.
