Full Description
February-November 1993. Watching Brief.
Brundall to Whitlingham Rising Main (Field 1528).
Initial fieldwalking and metal-detecting where possible, followed by observation of stripped easement and, where deemed necessary, monitoring of the excavation of the pipe trench itself.
Finds collected included:
Prehistoric worked and burnt flints.
Late Saxon pottery sherds.
Medieval/post-medieval pottery sherds.
Post-medieval pottery sherds and other objects.
No features were identified.

Undatable casting waste.
